Kelly Clarkson Shades Brandon Blackstock And Lawsuit In Tweet
Brandon’s father Narvel Blackstock runs the management company. He just filed the claim alleging that Kelly owes them $1.4 million in unpaid commissions. These commissions are reportedly from Kelly’s earning as host of The Kelly Clarkson Show and The Voice. Kelly threw some shade at this lawsuit on Twitter. She tweeted a gif of Morpheus from The Matrix making a “come here” motion. This tweet is seemingly telling the Blackstock family to “bring it on.” It seems like Kelly is not going down without a fight.
Kelly reportedly previously paid Starstruck Management Group a 15% commission but is accused of owing $5.4 million by the end of the year. There is no written agreement since this was all verbally done by Kelly’s lawyer in 2007 during a phone call. This turns the situation into more of a “he said, she said.”
“Toxic people, do toxic sh*t, Kelly” said another. “I am so sorry for what you are going through. Narcissistic people lack the empathy or moral compass to understand the implications of their self-serving actions, nor do they care. You deserve WAY better!”
