Life In Prison For Houston Slayings Is Only Logical

Every single day someone on this planet is viciously murdered.  Sometimes there is a motive and sometimes there is no motive at all.  Senseless killings are unfortunate.  But why would someone kill his own kids and his ex-wife?  Jealously or just some screws loose up above.  Whatever the reasons maybe this is all too common.  We need stricter laws so people like this cannot get away with murder.

David Conley is being detained for the murder of his ex, her new husband and his six children.  Thirteen years ago, Conley was in jail again after being charged with violating a felony with then girlfriend Valerie Jackson.  Because of his crimes, Conley could have done some serious jail time.  However, his attorney petitioned for a five year plea deal.

Asked whether his son was in a better place, without admitting anything, Conley altered a scripture from the Bible.

“Thou shall honor your mother and father or your days are short,” he said.

At the end of Conley’s interview, he broke down crying. He said he prays all the time and is sad so many people are dead.

Conley’s next court appearance is September 15.
