Coats Rose Expands Key Practices with Five Attorneys in Houston, Austin, Dallas and New Orleans

 

HOUSTON – December 7, 2021 – Coats Rose, P.C., a transactional and litigation law firm focused on development, is pleased to announce the addition of five attorneys in its Houston, Austin, Dallas and New Orleans offices. The additions bolster the firm’s public finance and affordable housing and community development practices.  Krystal Joseph joins the Houston office as an associate in the public finance practice. Taylor Elliott and Carson Luddecke both join the public finance practice as associates in the Dallas office. Natalee Ball and Chelsea Fitzgerald join as associates in the affordable housing and community development practice in the Austin and New Orleans offices, respectively.

Public Finance Attorneys

Joseph is an associate in the Houston office. Her practice focuses on the creation and administration of special purpose districts located throughout Texas, relating to the development and financing of property. While attending law school, Krystal served as Student Managing Editor of the Construction Law Journal, a publication of the Construction Law Section of the State Bar of Texas. In addition, she served as President of the Real Estate & Construction Law Society and Treasurer for the Student Bar Association.

Luddecke is an associate whose practice focuses on Public Finance and Real Estate law, including the creation and administration of special purpose districts throughout Texas, particularly in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  His practice involves representing clients before various governmental entities, including the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, cities, counties, and various regional service providers.

Elliott is an associate with a practice centered on Public Finance and Real Estate law, including the creation and administration of special purpose districts in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and throughout Texas. Prior to joining Coats Rose, Taylor served as a Judicial Intern for the Hon. Judge Martin Hoffman in the 68th Civil District Court and for the Hon. Judge Sandra Jackson in the 302nd Family District Court, both in Dallas, Texas.


Affordable Housing and Community Development Attorneys

Ball is an associate in the Austin office. Her practice focuses on Affordable Housing and Community Development. Prior to joining the firm, Natalee worked as a Summer Associate with the New York City Housing Development Corporation and as a Legal Intern with Settlement Housing Fund, Inc. both in New York City.

Fitzgerald is an associate in the New Orleans office. She represents developers, lenders, and nonprofit organizations in a wide range of corporate and commercial real estate transactions, including tax credit financings for the development of affordable housing, restoration of historic buildings, and business development in low-income communities.
